Hello, my name is Danielle Aquilina, and I am a Professional Celebrant, Storyteller and Emcee. My expertise comes from my background in stagecraft and performing and with that an incredible aptitude for engaging with all types of people across all walks of life. Connecting, sharing and listening for more than 15 years, I have a wealth of skills, knowledge and ‘way with words to express the life of your loved one.

With over 12 years professional public speaking experience, you can be comfortable knowing the service of your loved one’s ceremony will be delivered with grace, kindness and professional dignity.

It can be difficult to navigate during times of loss and while it is a sad time, it is also a time to celebrate the love, joy and light your loved one brought to your life!

I pride myself on creating memorable, dignified ceremonies for those who have passed as a way to celebrate their life and share those stories that make them so special.

  • Pet’s are a huge part of my life (I’ve got 2 cats) and I know how special they are in life. Helping to celebrate the send off of your furry and feathered family member is something I can help with. Intimate ceremonies or backyard goodbyes are something I can tailor to suit for an appropriate goodbye.

Funeral FAQs

  • For a standard funeral the cost is $650 (inc GST)
    But of course, if there are additional elements you would like included (writing the eulogy, candle ceremonies, ashes scattering, burial ceremony etc.) I can package deals for you - please get in touch to talk about tailoring and pricing

    Which includes:

    • Interview with the family

    • Creation of tailored funeral service working with your chosen funeral home

    • Professional presentation of funeral in funeral home (1 hour)

    • Unique story-telling and reading of Eulogies

  • Yes, I know the importance of a pet in your life. I have 2 cats myself and when they pass, I want to say goodbye in a proper way. So, I can create and curate a ceremony tailored for your fur family member.

    I also tailor bespoke goodbyes for children’s pets and family pets to help the transition, including bubbles, poems and special messages to send on to their pet in the next life.

  • I offer a Eulogy writing service for an additional fee (please contact for package deals) in which I listen to your most memorable stories about your loved one and turn it into something that showcases their best bits in a memorable and dignified story that you also get to keep as a printed copy to read whenever you want to share their memory.
